Queen St Mall Brisbane Stands Still Queen Street Mall in Brisbane stood still on April the 1st 2008 as several hundred people ( better known as Special Agents ) led by Agent 0 volunteered to freeze still in the mall for 5 minutes. World Freeze Day is just one example of improv which is becoming a worldwide exiting trend that is uniquely fun and intriguing causing chaos and fun in many public spaces. ACS Founder Jessica ( Agent Fizzyjess ) recently found out about World Freeze Day after joining a local improvisation group. Jessica, Gingermegs and LuLu the guinea pigs and ACS Volunteer Alina and her girls actively took part in the World Freeze Day. World Freeze Day was well covered by the media with several T.V. Stations filming the event. For further information about improv and to find out more about Australian Improv groups and events please visit: http://improveverywhere.com/. Please note: Guinea Pigs that took part in this event enjoyed the day and are very used to ACS Public Awareness Displays and enjoy being socialised with people. We don't recommend taking your guinea pig to a crowded public space if they easily fret from noise and crowds.
