Satinisation can come in pretty much all breeds of guinea pigs. A satin guinea pigs coat will have finer hair shafts to that of a non satin and in a longhair the satin hairs can be so fine that they can become fragile and even break the longer the coat grows. A satins coat has a very shine sheen to it every strand of hair will be satinised.
