ACS Shelters receive 1000's of homeless guinea pigs into our care each year. The ACS shelters most important duty is to ensure that the guinea pigs receive the best possible care while in our care.

ACS Shelters regularly need to call upon the help and support of dedicated foster carers who selflessly give their time behind the scenes to help some of the guinea pigs in our care. Foster carers are an invaluable part of ACS and what we do. Foster carers often say  that the experience is selfless and fulfilling on so many levels.

Please note that you must be over the age of 18 to apply to foster care for any of our ACS Shelters.

If you wish to offer your time to foster care for a guinea pig in need of a temporary home please fill out our foster care Application form below and email to us at: australiancavysanctuary@hotmail.com. If your application is accepted from here you are then able to foster care for any guinea pigs that are available and may be contacted by your local ACS Shelter at any given time.
