AWL OPEN DAY ON THE GOLD COAST

28TH OCTOBER 2007

On the 28th October a team of ACS volunteers and Brisbane shelter manager 'Jessica' made their way down to the Gold Coast to support the AWL open day and to seize a wonderful opportunity to spread further small animal awareness and correct care education along with being able to meet some of the families who have adopted previously through ACS who live in the gold coast surrounding areas. The day was enjoyable and although the summer temperatures were soaring we luckily were located in a shaded area with a breeze! ACS came home to brisbane with three new guinea pig surrenders, two of which were on foster care and one guinea pig who was surrendered to AWL at the open day.
